Littleton Man Killed When Motorcycle Hits Car

LONE TREE, Colo. (AP) ― A Littleton man is dead after authorities say he ran a red light and slammed into a car making a left turn in Douglas County.

The Colorado State Patrol says Randy Engle, 29, was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries when he crashed into a Toyota Prius about 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

The accident occurred near state Highway C470 and University Blvd.

Engle was ejected on impact. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, John Watts, 51 of Centennial, was not hurt.
