Colorado Springs Officers Warn Of Police Imposter
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) ―
Colorado Springs authorities are warning drivers to beware of police impersonators on Interstate 25.
Police say they've received several reports of people in unmarked cars with red and blue lights on the front pulling over drivers.
Police say one impersonator asked a female driver for sexual favors in exchange for not issuing a summons.
In most cases the impersonators ask for driver's licenses and other personal information.
Descriptions of the impostors' vehicles include a blue four-door sedan and a silver sport-utility vehicle.
Police issued the warning over the weekend.
