Police Name 2nd Suspect In Church Break-Ins

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) ― Loveland police have named a second suspect in a string of five church burglaries, and say both could be responsible for at least 25 burglaries dating back to August.

Police on Wednesday were searching for Ryan Davis, 32, of Greeley.

Another Greeley resident, Timothy Mattox, 33, was arrested Dec. 31 on suspicion of second-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft by receiving and complicity.

He is being held in Larimer County jail on $35,000 bail.

Police say surveillance video taken Dec. 22 at King Soopers stores in Greeley and Loveland showed Mattox and another man using gift cards stolen from Loveland's First Christian Church.

Police received a tip on Mattox's identity after releasing the video.
