A family in Adams County goes to court at the end of the month because of its love for the Denver Broncos and the way members celebrate each point the team scores.
Jeri and Larry Priest use a contraption made with six car horns welded onto a dolly and connected to a car battery. For the last 12 years, when the Broncos score, the couple has honked the horn for each point.
None of the neighbors seemed to mind, until recently.
"It's all fun and a family tradition," said Larry Priest. "We're not trying to aggravate someone intentionally."
A neighbor called the Adams County Sheriff's Office and the couple was cited for disorderly conduct.
They're due in court on Nov. 26. The couple plans to abide by whatever the judge rules.
