Body Found At Boulder Falls Could Be Missing Girl

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) ― Boulder police said a body was found at Boulder Falls Monday afternoon.

Boulder County sheriff's Cmdr. Joe Gang said a passenger on a bus noticed what he thought was a body 300 to 500 feet west of the falls and about 100 to 200 feet up from the road. After the bus reached Boulder, the passenger called police.

At the time a sheriff's deputy was checking on an unoccupied vehicle that had been at Boulder Falls for a day. The owner of the car had reported her daughter missing.

Police believe the body could be the missing girl but have yet to make a confirmation.

It's not clear if the death is suspicious.
