Woman, 36, Found Dead In Boulder Home
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) ―
A 36-year-old woman is dead and a Boulder man is under arrest in connection with an apparent case of domestic violence.
Boulder police said Alfred Michael Strauss, 45, is being held at the Boulder County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.
The woman's name has not been released.
Police Chief Mark Beckner said Strauss called authorities about 5:30 Monday night, saying he'd been involved in a domestic dispute. Officers soon found a woman inside Strauss' home who appeared to have been stabbed.
Officers would not comment on any relationship between Strauss and the woman.
Two children, ages 2 and 4, live at the home, but were not there at the time. They're now in the custody of Social Services.
