Man's Family Keeps Search Alive In Breckenridge

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) ― The family of a man from New Jersey who disappeared while vacationing in Breckenridge is determined to find him.

Michael Barbiere was last seen Feb. 8 while leaving a bar in Breckenridge during a blinding snowstorm.

Family and friends have rotated in and out of Breckenridge ever since, hoping to find information.

There have been some leads, but police said they haven't turned up anything substantial.

The family said it is not giving up.

"Putting up the posters and talking to everybody," said Ron Carlson, a relative. "Letting everybody know we're still here and we're still looking for Mike. We know he's somewhere here."

The family created a Web site where people can offer information and leave anonymous tips. It is helpfindmike.com.
