Suspects Sought In Aurora Video Store Robbery

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Two men robbed a Hollywood Video in Aurora this week while holding a gun and starter pistol, police said. Investigators released pictures Friday of the suspects in hopes of catching them.

The robbery happened at about 9:50 p.m. at the Hollywood Video at 1000 South Sable Blvd.

The suspects approached a store employee outside and forced them inside.

Once inside the Hollywood Video, the first suspect took money from the register while the second suspect acted as a lookout.

Suspect No. 1 is described as a black male, 5'8", approximately 150 lbs., wearing a cow-patterned bandana over his face. He may have been wearing a long haired wig and wore latex gloves on his hands.

Suspect No. 2 is described as a black male in his 20s, 6'2", wearing a black shirt. He had a nylon stocking over his face and latex gloves on his hands.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Both suspects left the store on foot westbound on East Tennessee Avenue. One suspect was seen getting into a 70s or 80s white or faded gray Cadillac or similar make car. It was being driven by a black female, described as weighing 180 to 200 lbs.

Police were offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to arrests and charges in the case.
