Tattoos Might Give Sex Assault Suspect Away

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Police in Aurora have released a composite sketch of a suspect in an attempted sexual assault.

Investigators said they believe a man in his mid-to-late 20s began watching a 20-year-old woman near Sable Boulevard and East Alameda Parkway on June 13. They said he then followed her to a parking lot near Mississippi Avenue and Abilene Street. He then forced her behind a business and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim successfully fought off the suspect, who fled.

The suspect is described as a white male with short, light brown hair, about 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He also has a large amount of tattoos, including several on his face. The facial tattoos are said to be a heart design under his right eye, a ribbon design on his neck and a crescent moon shape around his left eye.

Aurora Police are offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Aurora Police Tip Line at (303) 739-6118.
