The Adams County Sheriff's Office has canceled an Amber Alert for an 8-year-old girl after the girl and her mother were found in Aurora.

Police said Brandy May Tano was reported missing by her father early Saturday morning after he found her missing from her bedroom in their Watkins home. She was last seen Friday around 11 p.m. in the 32800 block of Front Street.

Officials said members of the Aurora Police Department found Tano with her mother, Jackie Lee Hall, who was suspected of taking her.

Hall also has several outstanding warrants for her arrest.
