Books Help Honor Memory Of Young Cancer Victim

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Books helped honor the memory of a little girl who lost her battle with acute lymphoma leukemia.

Iowa Elementary School students in Aurora picked out books Tuesday thanks to the Alyssa Cares Foundation.

Nine-year-old Alyssa loved to read before she died last year. Now her family is helping keep her love of books alive by visiting schools and giving books to children to encourage reading.
