Police: Kidnapping Suspect Crashed After Chase

DENVER (CBS4) ― Three people are in the hospital after a crash during a police chase.

It happened Saturday night at the intersection of Arizona and Perry.

Police said they tried to pull over a man suspected of kidnapping his female passenger. The driver ran a stop sign and hit a truck and then his van hit a tree. The truck rolled several times.

All three people were taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the van faces several charges including vehicular assault and kidnapping.
