MTV's 'Don Vito' Goes On Trial In Golden

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) ― MTV personality, Vincent "Don Vito" Margera, will go on trial this week for three felony counts of sexual assault on a child.

Opening statements were expected Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the Jefferson County district attorney's office said.

The uncle of MTV's "Viva La Bam" star Bam Margera is accused of fondling three girls at a skate park in Lakewood.

He also faces 12 felony counts of violating his bail conditions. Those conditions included having no contact with children under 18, consuming no drugs or alcohol, and providing detailed information on business travel plans.
