Vietnam Veterans Memorial Makes Stop In Colo.
KEENESBURG, Colo. (CBS4) ―
A replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. was in a small Colorado farming community Saturday.
People seem to connect with the ground-level memorial in a way few others have made an impact.
The memorial was in Keenesburg.
It's half the size of the wall in Washington, D.C. and has been touring the country for more than 20 years.
Visitors to the wall say they're thankful for the chance to see it.
"It's really a blessing to have it here. We have a lot of veterans and we have a lot of people that have been involved in the war and we just thank the Lord for those that have come home safe as well as those that are listed on that wall," said Bob Korthuis, a Prospect Valley Resident.
