Here is a list of some Veterans Day events planned along the Front Range.
Boulder
11:00am: UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom on the CU Boulder Campus.
Denver
11:00am: Fort Logan National Cemetery's 32nd Annual Rememberance Ceremony. Speakers include Gov. Bill Ritter, Sen. Michael Bennet and retired Marine Rep. Mike Coffman.
11:00am-1:00pm: The public can sign a banner thanking servicemen and women outside the Rock Bottom Brewery on the 16th Street Mall. Sponsored by the American Red Cross.
11:30am: The Children's Museum of Denver will hold Veterans Day StoryTime. Canine Companions for Independence will bring a service dog to teach kids how they help Veterans and people with disabilities.
Highlands Ranch
5:30pm-6:30pm: Celebration at the Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument in Civic Green Park. There will be a presentation of colors by the Highlands Ranch American Legion Post and readings of veterans' personal histories.
Longmont
11:11am: Veterans Day Parade starts at the St. Vrain Memorial Building.
Loveland
6:00am-9:00am: Breakfast at the Veterans Club, 305 N. Cleveland Avenue ($6, free to those in full military uniform).
11:11am: Parade starting at 3rd and Railroad, ending at Dwayne Webster Veterans Park.
Noon: Main Event at Dwayne Webster Veterans Park, featuring Purple Heart reipient Latoya Lucas.
