After a chilly start to Easter Sunday the snow should melt off quickly.
A weak system that moved through Denver Saturday night and early Sunday was expected to move out of the region and be replaced with drier conditions. Sunday afternoon highs will top out in the upper 40's.
A series of high pressure systems will build over the area, allowing afternoon highs to warm to near 70 degrees by mid week. By Monday morning the wind is expected to pick back up again in the foothills and high country, with gusts that could reach up to 50mph.
