2 Killed In Rollover Crash Near Limon

LIMON, Colo. (AP) ― The Colorado State Patrol says driver fatigue may have contributed to a rollover crash of an SUV that killed two Californians.

The accident happened around 5:45 p.m. Saturday as William File Jr., 68, of San Jose was driving on westbound Interstate 70, about 5 miles east of Limon.

Troopers say File drifted into the center median, then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to leave the road and roll two-and-a-half times. He was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.

The State Patrol says 65-year-old Verna File of San Jose and 62-year-old Royce W. McFadden of Riverbank died at the scene.

Fifty-eight-year-old Vickie McFadden of Riverbank was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
