Rattlesnake Bites Golfer In Littleton
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) ―
A golfer is recovering after being bitten by a rattlesnake in Littleton.
The incident happened on Friday at The Meadows Golf Course near the 6th tee.
The man was bitten twice above the ankle while trying to retrieve his ball from the brush.
He was air-lifted to Littleton Hospital, where he was given anti-venom.
West metro fire says this is the second rattlesnake bite they have responded to in South Jefferson County in less than a week.
