Police Arrest Suspect In Longmont Bank Robbery

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) ― Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a bank in Longmont and attempting to rob a bank in Boulder.

Police say Richard Scott Ibbeson, 44, tried to demand money at the Advantage Bank in Boulder but he left after the teller told him he didn't have money in his drawer.

Police believe he later walked into the Wells Fargo Bank inside a Safeway in Longmont demanding money. He was given the money before he took off.

Ibbeson is being held in the Boulder County Jail.
