11 Students Charged In High School Drug Case

 Visit The Crime Section

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) ― Eleven students at a Douglas County high school are being charged with illegally possessing prescription drugs.

The charges follow an incident earlier this month in which the students were taken to an emergency room suspected of ingesting oxycodone. All of the students attend Castle View High School.

Castle Rock police say a 15-year-old boy brought the pills to school. He is being charged with distribution of a schedule two controlled substance.

The other ten are being charged with possession. All are between the ages of 14 and 17.
