Jessica Biel Comes To Denver For $30,000 Date

Slideshow: A Date With Jessica Biel

DENVER (CBS4) ― Former Boulder resident Jessica Biel returned to Colorado on Friday for a special lunch date she had auctioned off at a fundraiser for a Denver high schooler who was injured on prom night.

Biel, an actress, starred in the TV show 7th Heaven before going on to a successful movie career. She is currently starring in the film "The Illusionist" with Ed Norton and Paul Giamatti.

Last month a man who only gave the name of John submitted the highest bid for a date with Biel at last month's "Mollypalooza," one of the many Molly Bloom fundraisers that has been held this summer.

The date took place at Denver's swanky restaurant The Palm. The price paid for the date was $30,000.

Biel's father lives in the area and made an appearance at the fundraiser, but Biel wasn't there in person.

Bloom is recovering from serious injuries she suffered when she was run over by a limo on prom night.
