A home in Douglas County was heavily damaged Wednesday morning by fire. It happened in Louviers.

South Metro Fire responded to the scene. Five other departments backed them up. Altogether 40 firefighters battled the fire. It took them about half an hour.

Two people were at home when the fire started, but they got out ok. Fire investigators say it's too early to determine what caused the fire.
