It's been just over a week since Bobra Goldsmith lost her home to the fires in Boulder County, but that hasn't stopped her from competing at the National Western Stock Show.
Goldsmith raises llamas and they're about all she has left after the fire destroyed her house and her car. But Goldsmith's spirit is still intact. On Friday she led one of her llamas through an obstacle course. He's a bit of a rookie but Goldsmith says he'll improve with practice.
"He did fairly well. Some of my friends were very impressed that he did that well because I haven't had enough time to work with him," she said.
Goldsmith says competing is a great distraction and she says everyone in the llama community has been very supportive since the fire.
