Hickenlooper's Statement On Frontier's Bankruptcy

DENVER (AP) ― "Frontier has been tripped up by a unique and likely short-lived financial circumstance. They are a great local company with thousands of dedicated employees who have the skills and expertise to succeed in this competitive industry. Just as our community supported United Airlines during its bankruptcy restructuring, recognizing that a competitive marketplace benefits everyone, we expect they will also support Frontier.

"After discussions with the airline, we anticipate no immediate effect on the revenues or financial position of Denver International Airport. We have every expectation that Frontier's management team will guide the company through its restructuring to improved financial health. Frontier is one of our top-flight businesses. They are an important partner and a big part of Denver's identity. We are confident that will continue to be the case."
