Nacchio To Go On Trial In Denver Federal Court

DENVER (CBS4) ― Former Qwest Chief Executive Officer Joe Nacchio will go on trial in Denver Federal Court next year.

A judge rejected Nacchio's claim he couldn't get a fair trial in Denver Friday.

Nacchio is accused of improperly using inside knowledge in the sale of stock five years ago.

The trial is scheduled to begin on March 19th and is expected to take about 30 days.

Nacchio has pleaded not guilty.
