Some 300 people gathered in
Greeley Friday night for a Mass and prayer vigil for families and those caught up in a raid this week at a Swift meatpacking plant.
Candlelight vigils were also planned in several cities across the state.
Meanwhile the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement reports so many calls have been flooding the first telephone information bank that a second line has been opened for families to call for information on the 1,200 detainees.
ICE led the raids at six
Swift plants. Some of the detainees are illegal immigrants accused of stealing American's identities to get jobs.
Authorities said 261 workers were detained in Greeley, and about 25 of them are wanted on felony identity theft charges.
