Suspect Arrested In Denver SUV Fires

DENVER (CBS4) ― A man was arrested late Thursday night who police believe is a suspect in several SUV fires in a single area.

At about 11:30 p.m., Grant Barnes was taken into custody near Garfield St. and Bayaud Ave. He's being held pending formal charges.

Barnes was arrested as part of a traffic stop after he exhibited suspicious behavior, according to authorities.

Investigators found an improvised incendiary device had been used in one of the SUV fires.
