DENVER (CBS4) ― Parole has been revoked for the man police called a "person of interest" in the murder of Denver Broncos player Darrent Williams, CBS4 reported Friday.

Willie Clark was arrested by Denver police shortly after Williams' killing on New Year's Day. He was taken into custody on charged associated with a parole violation, not William's murder.

A hearing for Clark was held behind closed doors Friday morning.

A parole board found Clark was in violation of his responsibilities by not living at the home of his grandmother. He was released from prison after serving time for aggravated robbery.

Clark's attorney said he believes police are trying to pressure Clark into providing information about who may have been involved in the shooting of Williams.

The parole board's decision means Clark will stay behind bars for another 180 days. He could have been released if he was found not guilty of violating parole during Friday's hearing.

Clark has not been called a suspect in William's death by police.
