Driver Pleads Not Guilty In Prom Night Accident

Sample To Stand Trial For Accident That Injured Molly Bloom

DENVER (CBS4) ― The limo driver charged in the accident that severely injured a East High School senior in Denver on prom night was in court Thursday to enter a not guilty plea.

Stanley Sample has been charged with careless driving.

He is accused of pulling away from the curb before Molly Bloom was safely inside the vehicle. She fell and eventually lost one of her legs because of the accident.

Sample is scheduled to stand trial in February.

Bloom continues to recover from the accident at home.
