Friends Hold Spaghetti Fundraiser For Molly Bloom
DENVER (CBS4) ―
Family and friends of Molly Bloom have organized a Spaghetti & Salad Bar fundraiser help raise money for her recovery. Bloom, an East High School graduate, lost her leg on prom night when a limo ran over her.
Bloom's mother Bernie Bloom works for Littleton schools and her co-workers are holding the fundraiser Friday night.
"Bernie has been a bus driver for a year now with us and so she's just part of our family," said Sandy Church, a family friend. "We're just one big happy family and whatever we need to do to help, we will."
The fundraiser will be at the Elks Lodge in Littleton from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. where they'll raffle prizes that were provided through donations. The lodge is located at at 5749 S Curtice St. (at the corner of Alamo Avenue and Curtice.)
