Lone Drivers Can Pay To Drive In HOV Lane

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Colorado Department of Transportation was preparing to launch HOT lanes, otherwise known as, High Occupancy Toll lanes.

Starting in June, drivers who are alone will be allowed to access the HOV lanes on Interstate 25 for a fee.

Denver Public Works was installing a new traffic light at 19th and Wynkoop on Tuesday. It was installed to help protect pedestrians at an intersection that will soon get even busier.
