School Administrator In Court For Sex Abuse Case

Carrie McCandless, 29, a teacher at Denver-area high school Brighton Charter High, turned herself in to authorities Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006 on a charge of having a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old student.

A former school administrator accused of trying to cover up suspect cases of
sexual abuse was in court on Tuesday.
David Mundy Sr. was the president of the Brighton Charter school board.
He's charged with failure to report suspected child abuse and tampering with a witness.
Mundy's son,
David Mundy Jr. is accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with a student. He was a substitute teacher at the charter high school.
Another teacher,
Carrie McCandless, is also accused of having sexual contact with a student at the school.
