Aurora Police ID Homicide Victim, Have Few Leads

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Investigators in Aurora identified the victim of a homicide last Friday at a home in the 1000 block of Dayton St. Police said the woman killed was Yong Soon Kirk, 65.

She was the only person living at the home and officers don't believe she has any relatives in the Denver area.

An autopsy revealed the victim was severely beaten.

Officers found her body last Friday morning after someone called about a suspicious odor in the apartment building. Police found the body lying in the apartment.

Police were still asking the public work information about her death.
