Anonymous Donor Grants Dying Man's Wish
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ―
An anonymous donor is granting the wish of a dying young man from Aurora.
Aaron Weiss, 20, suffers from HIV and lives in a state of constant pain. He takes more than 80 doses of medication every day, needs dialysis every night and essentially has the mind of a 10-year-old.
Weiss, who was born with HIV, was adopted at the age of only 2 months and has had health problems ever since.
Because Weiss is too old for the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help out in granting what he says is his one true desire, his family asked for help to get him to Florida and Disney World.
The anonymous donor on Monday stepped forward and offered to pay for Weiss and his family to go to Disney World.
The trip is estimated to cost $12,000.
