Broncos tight end Nate Jackson is big on honor, that's why he's been spending so much time lately at the Denver Children's Advocacy Center.
Jackson serves on the board of the organization, which is dedicated to helping abused and neglected children.
They children at the center often have been abused by their parents or guardians, and Jackson said the center does a great job of helping them know that there good, loving people out there who want nothing more than to help them.
Throughout the six months he's been working with the center, Jackson says he has gained skills that are critical for helping abused children.
"For me -- I'm learning a lot. I'm learning a lot about the process of rehabilitating these kids and getting them to open up. The process of being there for them," Jackson said. "There are a lot of smart, capable people working here that care a lot about what they do and I'm just kind of learning from them."
When he spends time with the children, Jackson often throws footballs around with them. He said he likes to let them know they've got some Denver Broncos on their side.
