Rangers Want Residents To Report Bear Sightings

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) ― Rangers in Boulder said they are getting more reports of bear sightings, and they remind people visiting open spaces not to feed the bears.

Anyone caught feeding a bear in Colorado faces a minimum fine of $68.

They're asking people who live near open spaces not to have pet food or bird feeders outdoors.

Boulder rangers ask if you see a bear this weekend to call the bear hotline at (720) 564-2020.
