Man Arrested For Hit & Run Of Scooter In Arvada

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) ― A man from Arvada has been arrested, accused of running over a man on a scooter. The driver of the scooter died.

Authorities said 45-year-old Patrick Moore ran the man over Tuesday night at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and 64th Avenue in Arvada.

Investigators said Moore drove off after colliding with the driver of the scooter and dragging him several feet.

Mario Draves, 21, of California was pronounced dead at the scene.
