Police have suspended the search for a New Jersey man who was last seen leaving a bar in Colorado after finding no evidence of his whereabouts.
Alphonse "Michael" Barbiere, 23, was last seen about 1 a.m. on Friday leaving Cecilia's Bar on Marin Street in Breckenridge. His friends told police he was highly intoxicated.
The temperature was low and there were high winds at the time.
Breckenridge's assistant police chief told The Denver Post authorities will resume the search if they get new information or if the snow melts.
CBS4's Andrea Lopez spoke with Barbiere's brother in Breckenridge who said Barbiere was vacationing with friends. He said Barbiere's a responsible man and is a trader on Wall Street.
Sunday, 58 people searched the city limits and the lower portions of the ski area. Crews found broken ice on a pond and brought in divers, but did not find anything.
Barbiere has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray and black ski jacket, jeans and tan boots.
Police were seeking three men who were seen talking with Barbiere in the bar before he disappeared. Officers spoke with one man, but were still hoping to find the other two.
The men are not suspected of any foul play. Police hope to get more information about the disappearance
Anyone with any information is asked to call Breckenridge police at (970) 453-3177.
