Hospital Now Facing Lawsuit Likely To Shut Down
DENVER (CBS4) ―
The Colorado Orthopaedic and Surgical Hospital is most likely closing its doors for good.
The state health department was informed of the decision, CBS4's Rick Sallinger reported.
In May a patient, Hilary Carpenter, died after being given the wrong dosage of a painkiller.
COSH was shut down for more than a month following a state health department investigation.
On Friday Carpenter's family filed a lawsuit against the hospital and one of its owners, National Surgical Hospital.
