New Year's Eve is days away and Denver is preparing. The fireworks show and party has become one of the city's biggest events of the year.
Officials expect 100,000 people to visit downtown to ring in the New Year. This year visitors will get the fireworks and a few new events.
"We've got people all along the 16th Street Mall that will be doing comedy and magic and things like that and entertaining the families and the crowds, so we're really excited to introduce that this year," Sarah Neumann with Downtown Denver Partnership said.
There are two shows on New Year's Eve. One is at 9 p.m. and another at midnight.
Organizers say there will be a great view of the fireworks show anywhere along the 16th Street Mall.
