Mail carrier Doug Fischer on Thursday

You know it's Christmas when letter carrier Doug Fischer swaps his postal blues for Santa's red and white suit.
Fischer has been delivering express mail packages on Christmas Day while dressed as Santa Claus since 1998.
He said Thursday that he wouldn't want to spend his Christmas any other way.
"My favorite part about today is seeing the look on people's faces when Santa comes to their house and gives them a package. (They say) 'This is awesome. I just can't believe it.' That's my favorite part," he said.
Fischer says he will continue his Christmas tradition as long as he can. He even invested in a new Santa suit this year.
Christmas delivery of express mail is routine in large cities, but U.S. Postal Service spokesman al desarro says not many carriers take on the role of Santa.
