The mobile mammogram van set up at Midway Park in Broomfield on Saturday. The van can provide breast cancer screenings for women, regardless of their ability to pay.
One in seven women in Colorado will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
Organizers say about 40 women got mammograms on Saturday, but it doesn't end there.
"If they need additional imaging or even a biopsy or if the cancer is diagnosed, all of that's covered every step of the way," said radiologist Dr. Jerome Schroeder.
The van visits 12 Colorado counties and provides mammograms for women without health insurance.
