Colorado's senators are headed to a solar energy plant to talk up how the stimulus is helping create green-energy jobs.
Sens. Mark Udall and Michael Bennet planned to tour Ascent Solar Technologies in Thornton Saturday. Ascent is opening a headquarters and plant that will employ up to 200 people.
The Democratic senators say the solar energy company will be eligible for renewable energy tax incentives from the stimulus package. The exact amount is unclear.
