Field & Stream Rates Glenwood Fishing Hotspot

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) ―

A national magazine is rating Glenwood Springs as the best city under 100,000 population for fishing in the nation.

The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel said the Field & Stream issue due out Wednesday contains the ranking.

Several fishing guides say they are glad the news is out but most serious anglers have known about Glenwood for decades.

Visitors, and locals, have both the Colorado and Roaring Fork rivers to choose from.
