Snow Falls On Mass Valentines Wedding At Red Rocks
MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) ―
Dozens of couples celebrated Valentines Day by exchanging vows at noon at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
A KBPI staffer dressed up as cupid served as the wedding coordinator for Thursday's ceremony and KBPI's radio personality "Uncle Nasty" officiated. Comedian Josh Blue served as the official best man.
Snow lightly fell on the festivities, which were held in the Upper Plaza area.
After exchanging the vows, all of the newlyweds sealed the deal with kisses.
Andrew and Stephanie Kihlthau joked that they were excited about the fact that the ceremony was free, and told CBS4 that it will be "an easy anniversary date for them to remember."
KBPI shared the following additional information about the ceremony:"Uncle Nasty has been an Ordained Minister since 1991 and has married thousands of couples. This years Annual Mass Wedding has a special twist with eight Colorado Crush Girls as the Maids of Honor."
