Britney Gets To Courthouse, Leaves

LOS ANGELES (AP) ―

Britney Spears' child-custody hearing was held Wednesday without the pop star, who showed up at the courthouse but abruptly left — prompting a court commissioner to uphold the order suspending her visitation rights.

Spears came to the courthouse to seek the right to visit her two little boys, entered the building and went through security screening. But she suddenly stated that she wanted to leave, spokesman Allan Parachini said.

A Superior Court spokesman says a commissioner took notice of Spears' absence and went ahead with the hearing, but in the end made no changes in the order suspending her rights.
