Possible Attempted Child Abduction In Boulder
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) ―
Boulder police are investigating a possible attempted abduction.
A fifth-grader at Mesa Elementary School told police that a stranger pulled up beside him as he was walking with his scooter to school. The boy did not understand what the man was saying. He ran to school and told school leaders about what had happened.
Officers are looking for a blue pickup truck with a camper shell.
Officers don't know what the person in the truck wanted from the boy but they continue to investigate.
Officers will be conducting extra patrols in the area of the school near 1575 Lehigh Street to help keep students safe.
