DENVER (CBS4) ― Celebrated musician James Taylor will join David Crosby, Graham Nash, Ani DiFranco and others on stage at the Buell Theater during the Democratic National Convention.

The show will be, in the words of Etown host Helen Forster, "an exciting night of music that will also be a discussion of issues that affect us all -- from sustainability to the environment."

Etown, the nationally syndicated music and issue program produced in Boulder, is putting the show together for an Aug. 26 curtain at the DCPA.

Nick Forster, another host and creator of Etown, told CBS4 that the musicians, long time friends of Etown and what it stand for, "were excited to be a part of this evening, especially during the DNC."

For tickets and information, contact Etown through its Web site.

Incidentally, the show is only one of many that various organizations and producers are setting up during the Democratic National Convention. There will also be performances by Kanye West and Wyclef Jean during the week. Sheryl Crow is scheduled to play at Red Rocks on Sunday, Aug. 24. And Hollywood's Creative Coalition will be hosting parties and presentations around the city during the week, so delegates can meet and greet stars, as well as discuss issues.

The Creative Coalition will also be on hand at the Republican National Convention in the Twin Cities the next week.
