Convention Videos Show Visitors 'Western Values'

DENVER (AP) ― Colorado congresswoman Diana DeGette and the Democratic National Convention Committee are releasing videos recommending activities around Denver and highlighting popular places leading up the convention.

DeGette narrates the introductory video in which she says: "Bring your cowboy boots, and we'll see you at the Convention in August." The Colorado Democrat's district includes the Pepsi Center, which is the site of the convention.

A new video will be aired on the convention committee's Web site each week. Convention officials say the videos will feature interviews of people who visitors might meet in Denver.

DeGette says the videos will provide snapshots of Denver and help visitors get a feel for Western values.
