Police Seek Tree Vandals After Arvada Park Damaged

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Someone damaged half a dozen trees in Arvada's Homestead Park this week, police said.

The vandals chopped some of the trees down. Others had broken branches.

Students from Peck Elementary School planted four of the trees on Arbor Day 3 years ago.

Another damaged tree was a memorial.

The parks department is offering a $500 reward for information to track down the vandals.
